This sweet family is very dear to me. Meet the O’Brien family. I first met them a few years ago when I photographed their wedding-but it wasn’t long before it was a case of “client turned friend.” They have become great friends over these last few years and I am so thankful they are part of our lives! Their daughter, Liv, is one of my daughter’s closest friends and watching friendships bloom in your children is so beautiful. I could go on for quite some time writing about all the things I adore about this family. But the only thing you really need to know is that they have the kindest, most generous, and thoughtful spirits.

I was really excited when Morgan told me she wanted to do their family photos on our farm. I walked the perimeter of our property, scouting out the perfect spot and I am in love with how their photos turned out! Our first session date was rained out, and I am so thankful because it had been a hot, humid day. The reschedule date was perfect, though. It was a mild day and the lighting was perfect as it peeked through the trees.

Also, one last thing I want to point out—these four were barefoot for their session and my nature-loving hippie heart loved that so much.
