Meet Alex and Melissa. I first met these two in the studio to talk about the details of their upcoming wedding day. They met online, towards the beginning of the pandemic. Their first date was much different than most people experience—but despite the difficulties they first experienced, they fell in love! They are planning their wedding for this fall and I am very excited to witness these two tie the knot. They are incredibly sweet to one another. If you are around them for any period of time, you are sure to see them joke around and make playful jabs with each other, lots of sweet touches, and the look of complete infatuation in their eyes.

After discussing the details of their wedding, we planned out and scheduled the engagement session. The date we originally picked ended up being cold, windy, and rainy. I am SO HAPPY we rescheduled. It would have been miserable. But, just a few days later—on the day of the actual session—it was gorgeous. It was warm and sunny and was the perfect weather to work with. We met up at Cataract Falls. The water levels were high and the falls were so strong! In fact, the water level was so high that the falls were almost nonexistent at the lower falls—which I have never even seen that before! But, it was still quite lovely.
