I am thrilled to introduce you to the newly wed Mr. & Mrs. Shrout—Geoff and Sabrina. They were married on November 14 at Lifebuilder Community Church in Greencastle, IN. They ONLY had their immediate family and a friend or two there to celebrate with them, to keep things “safe” in these crazy times we’re living. But when you’re able to look past the changes in plans, abiding my state guidelines, sanitary rules/regulations and you’re able to look at that person you love and commit your life to one another—all the crazy fades away until all you see is your person. The person that is going to be there to welcome you home at the end of the day, laugh with you, comfort you, care for you. I think this year has tested many relationships and if you’re able to pledge your life to one another, then it’s such a blessing to go into a marriage knowing you can overcome any obstacle.

I met up with the couple of their wedding day. I introduced myself to Geoff first and then went to find Sabrina in the basement of the church, about to put her dress on. I went back and forth between the two—taking photos, pinning boutonnieres, etc. They had a first look just a few moments before the ceremony. When it was time, Sabrina walked down the aisle and the two of them said their vows and ended with their first kiss as husband and wife. After the ceremony, we took photos and then walked across the street to the reception where we had great food, dancing, and even some karaoke!
