Meet the Smiley family, a delightful bunch who have been lighting up my camera lens for years! It all started when their oldest son, Quinn, was just a baby. Fast forward to today, and Quinn has been joined by two more adorable brothers, Wyatt and Ellis. Each year, I eagerly anticipate our family session to catch up with the Smileys and see how much the boys have grown.

Photographing this family is always a joy. Their energy is infectious, and their smiles—true to their name—are absolutely heartwarming. Watching Quinn transform from a curious baby into the big brother he is now has been such a treat. At one point during our session, Ellis was running and fell and he turned to his big brother for comfort. My heart melted! And when we add Wyatt’s playful spirit and Ellis’s sweet demeanor to the session, it adds even more charm.

Our annual meet-up feels less like work and more like reconnecting with old friends. It’s these moments that remind me why I love what I do: capturing memories that families can cherish forever while witnessing their beautiful journey through life. Here’s to many more years of laughter-filled photoshoots with the Smiley family!
