When I pulled up to the Amos family’s home, I was ready for a whirlwind of energy. With six kids between the ages of 4 and 11, you can imagine my expectations were set for a lively session filled with giggles, shouts, and maybe even some playful chaos. But as soon as I stepped inside their beautiful home, I was greeted with warmth and an unexpected sense of calm.

The Amos family has mastered the art of harmony amidst a full house. Each child brought their own unique spark to the session—whether it was shy smiles or bursts of laughter—but there was an underlying sense of togetherness that truly stood out. The kids were not only well-behaved but seemed genuinely excited to be part of capturing these family moments.

Photographing them felt less like work and more like being invited into a special family gathering. It’s rare to find such balance in a large household, but the Amos family seems to have found it effortlessly. Their love for each other radiated through every shot we took, making this long overdue family session one I’ll always cherish.

When I pulled up to their stunning home, the first thing that struck me was learning that they had built it themselves. Talk about impressive! As I walked in, the kids were all set and waiting patiently, which is a rare sight for any parent to behold. It was like they knew today was special.

We headed outside to capture some photos, and honestly, these kids were pros. Every little request I made was met with enthusiasm and zero hesitation. If only every photo session could be this easy! Their cooperation made the whole experience not just smooth but genuinely enjoyable. It’s days like these that remind me why I love doing what I do—capturing those moments of pure joy and connection in such a beautiful setting.

After we wrapped up our outdoor photo session, it was time to head inside and capture some cozy family moments. The kids were super excited to change into their matching Christmas pajamas—seriously, there’s nothing cuter than seeing them all decked out in festive gear! We gathered everyone around the fireplace, which was beautifully adorned with their stockings. The warm glow from the fireplace added a magical touch to the scene, making it feel like we were living in a holiday card. As we snapped away, smiles filled the room and you could just feel the holiday spirit in the air. It was one of those perfect moments that you want to bottle up and keep forever!
