Welcome to Jeremy and Eliza’s story-where an awkward first meeting turns into a beautiful wedding day. Love finds its way, even through awkward moments! Jeremy and Eliza’s story is a beautiful reminder that taking chances can lead to something truly magical. ✨
After a year of getting to know each other online, their paths finally crossed at the DePauw nature center. It may have felt awkward at first, but sparks flew as they exchanged heartfelt gifts. Eliza gifted Jeremy a candle, symbolizing the warmth and light that their connection brings. In return, Jeremy surprised Eliza with a precious piece of amber, signifying the precious memories they would create together.
Love was in the air at the nature center when Jeremy got down on one knee and proposed in the same place they had met. But that was just the beginning of their incredible wedding journey! They chose to see each other for the first time on their wedding day in the same spot! I love when couples choose a place that has so much meaning.
From the heartwarming first look to the endless smiles throughout the day, every moment was pure magic. And nothing could compare to that unforgettable walk down the aisle, where Jeremy and Eliza saw each other and were surrounded by their loved ones.
I often like to ask couples their favorite things about one another. When it comes to relationships, there’s nothing quite like finding someone who touches your heart in the most tender way. Eliza states that Jeremy is the epitome of gentleness and compassion. She can’t help but gush about Jeremy–his caring nature melts her heart every single time. Whether it’s a comforting hug, a listening ear, or a kind word, he always goes above and beyond to make her feel loved and understood. For Jeremy, it’s Eliza’s radiant smile that has the power to turn even the toughest days into pure sunshine. I think we all know that when life gets tough, a smile can make all the difference.
There are so many people and businesses that come together to make a wedding day successful. The wedding took place at the DePauw Nature Park. The reception was at New Life Baptist Church. Lauren- Eliza’s lovely sister in law- did all of the florals and all of the decor with the help of their friend, Caitlin. The wedding cake was made by their dear friend, Jen Coward. They had a lovely harpist, Linda Owens, who played through the ceremony. They had a brunch for the reception. The doughnuts came from Rise N Roll, while the breakfast foods came from The Breakfast Company.
Jeremy and Eliza are looking forward to cherishing every moment together. They remind us that true happiness lies in simple joys and growing old with someone you love. Let’s take a moment to wish them a lifetime of beautiful memories, laughter-filled days, and an abundant love that stands the test of time. Congratulations to you both!
