Meet the McHugh family. This sweet family was so patient for their photos! We were rained out numerous times, so I was very excited when the weather finally cooperated. I guess with all that waiting, they had time to prepare because they showed up and they NAILED their session. These kiddos were SO into photos, I went home and told my husband about how much fun *I* had during the session. They were so excited and full of life and that energy came through in their photos. I hope you can FEEL it when you look at them. We were there for a family session, but I’m pretty sure those kiddos were there for playtime because that’s exactly what they did—they played and laughed and had the best time. Sessions like this always remind me of how much I absolutely love this job. My own kids tell me they want to be a photographer when they grow up because they see how much I love it!

We had our session at Cataract Falls. With the huge amount of rain we’ve had, the falls were almost non-existent because the water levels were so high! But that spot still offers so much beauty, I don’t even mind (okay, maybe I mind a little).

It was such a pleasure meeting this family and working with them. I hope they loved their session as much as I did!
