Meet Josh and Bri. They are a newly engaged couple and I had the pleasure of working with them. This was a fun session and a new experience for me. Before Josh proposed, we met and planned a surprise engagement session for Bri. He asked her to marry him on a mudding outing and a couple of weeks later, he surprised her with the session. He bought her a dress so she looked great and was dressed for the occasion. She didn’t know what was going on until we pulled out the camera and it was so much fun! I was actually quite surprised with how easily she fell into a comfortability with the camera, with not having known about the session beforehand. I know that I would never be able to pull that off, so the fact that she nailed it was quite impressive.

Josh and Bri were a very easygoing couple. They had a familiarity and comfort with each other, despite only having been together for a few months. Once again: “when you know, you know!”

We met at Depauw nature park in the evening and we worked to capture that beautiful, golden light. It was so hard to narrow down the photos I want to share with you, but I hope you enjoy this sneak peek into their surprise session!
