Now, let me introduce you to the Harkins family. We met up at Chandler’s Farm on one of those gorgeous, extraordinarily warm November days and we swapped family sessions. Kaila is the talent behind Kaila Harkins-Photo and Life. She took our first set of family photos, 8 years ago! I have a huge canvas from that session hanging right next to me right now. She is also the one that helped me learn photography. She sat down with me all those years ago in a Starbucks and helped me learn manual mode and a few photoshop techniques. That meeting changed my life and I am forever grateful. They are also a fellow homeschooling family and when I was considering making that jump, Kaila once again sat down with me and went through their curriculum so I could see their day-to-day and get a better understanding. Kaila, those acts of kindness from you have changed our lives and I am so thankful!
