Meet Mr. & Mrs. Burdine <3
I met Brittany a couple of months ago when we sat down to talk about their upcoming wedding. We talked for a while and it was so nice to get to know her a bit before the big day. The wedding was held on the property of Brittany's family. I arrived and was greeted by lots of dogs (which are pretty much my favorite ever). I met Nick and his groomsmen. While he may have been a bit nervous, he was definitely ready to marry Brittany. We took the groomsmen photos and then once we were done, it was time for Brittany to arrive. Nick waited for her beneath the tree they planned to say their vows. I could see the excitement and nervous energy pouring from him, but once he turned around to see his bride, he was blown away. She looked breathtaking!
Nick and Brittany said their vows in front of their friends and family, beneath a beautiful tree. They went on to party the night away with their loved ones and soaked up all the joy the day had to offer. I asked them a few questions to get to know them and their story and this is what they had to say:
How they met: "We met at Roachdale bar, it was a girls night out with Brittany's friends. In April 2012."
How he proposed: "He proposed at the 2018 Burdine Halloween Bash, in front of friends and family. He Played our favorite song, '8 days a week' by the Beatles, when he did it."
Favorite thing about one another: "Our favorite thing is how we are best friends and just genuinely enjoy each other's time."
What they look forward to about marriage: "We look forward to growing the beautiful life we have already made and all the memories we will make as husband and wife. While keeping the memory of our daughter Kimber alive."
Here is a list of vendors that helped make the day special:
Food came from Jawbone in Advance, IN.
Our friend Katie Redman made the amazing broccoli salad!
The tent was rented from All American Tent rental in Terre Haute.
The Beautiful table linens and our wood/steel pedestal under the tree came from Simple to Elegant out of Terre Haute.
